Prior to providing services, the Personal Care Worker must complete 20 hours of training in the provision of unskilled personal care consisting of the contents listed in 6 CCR 1011-1 Ch. 26-8.6(B) as well as an orientation to the agency, community and the service provided by the agency. This series of courses has been specifically designed to meet the requirements for agency's who provide services to elderly populations including those who specialize in memory care. Note, it is the agency's responsibility to provide any agency specific information indicated in 6 CCR 1011-1 Ch. 26-8.6(A).
